Transatlantic Sessions 1995

Folk musicians from both sides of the Atlantic come together in what have been called “the greatest backporch shows ever.” Collaborative live performances by various leading folk and country musicians playing music from Scotland, Ireland, England and North America.

Private Sessions

Private Sessions is an Emmy winning television series produced by the A&E Network featuring top entertainers interviewed by host Lynn Hoffman. Most guests are musicians that perform several of their songs during the hour-long episode, but actors also have appeared on the show. The show premiered July 22, 2007 on A&E, succeeding Breakfast with the Arts. The debut program featured Avril Lavigne, and has featured musical guests Bon Jovi, Barenaked Ladies, Blues Traveler, Counting Crows, Duran Duran, En Vogue, The Goo Goo Dolls, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, Boyz II Men, Backstreet Boys, James Blunt, Maroon 5, Meat Loaf, Queen Latifah, Ringo Starr, Seal, Chicago, and Toby Keith, as well as actors John Cusack, Michael Douglas, and Anthony Hopkins. Additional guests include Sting, Mary J. Blige, Brooks & Dunn, Cyndi Lauper, Carly Simon, Lionel Richie and Dustin Hoffman. Tower Sessions 2011

Tower Sessions features a variety of live performances from both established and upcoming Filipino artists.

The Highland Sessions 2010

Series celebrating the historical and contemporary links between Scottish and Irish Gaelic song by bringing together top exponents of both traditions to sing and play with no audience except themselves, using a house band of their peers.

The Mortified Sessions 2011

The Mortified Sessions is an American documentary talk show on the Sundance cable television channel, hosted by David Nadelberg. The series, which premiered in December 2011, features interviews with one or more celebrities each episode, showing photos and artifacts from their childhood. The show serves as a companion piece to Mortified, a live stage show Nadelberg created nine years earlier in which people share excerpts of their childhood writing and art before an audience of total strangers in order to reveal a story about their life. The stage show launched a series of books and web content, has been featured numerous times on public radio's This American Life, and there are plans for a Mortified documentary.

Sessions at West 54th 1997

Sessions at West 54th was an American television program that featured music performances, and was in some ways a pop music variation on the theme set by the long-lived Austin City Limits, though the featured musicians represented a number of musical genres. It was called Sessions at West 54th because it was taped at Sony Music Studios on West 54th Street in Manhattan. It was produced for public television syndicator American Program Service and was carried on many public television stations. It first aired in most places on July 5, 1997, when it was included in the Saturday late-night lineup of stations covering 85% of the country. After the program ended, an edited for commercial television version also aired on the commercial Trio cable television network. It was first hosted by radio disc jockey Chris Douridas of KCRW in Santa Monica, California, while former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne took over hosting duties during the second season and John Hiatt was the host during the third, and final, season.

The Raw Sessions

The Raw Sessions is an Irish interactive music television programme broadcast on RTÉ Two in 2009. The country's first ever rockumentary series, it is presented by Dez Ryan and follows the attempts of eight musical acts to write and record an original composition in the space of twelve hours. It is produced by Lotus Media. The Raw Sessions commenced broadcast on 12 May 2009. Episodes are broadcast late on Tuesday nights and repeated late on Saturday nights. Each week the two recorded tracks are made available for download, with downloads counting towards the Irish Singles Chart. Tracks were recorded in destinations such as Sun Studios in Temple Bar, Dublin, Windmill Lane Studios on Ringsend Road, Dublin, and Grouse Lodge in County Westmeath. There was also a celebrity episode which featured more established musicians recording a cover version for charity. Eight acts took part in the show. These were Dirty Epics, Hoarsebox, The Infomatics, Majella Murphy, Noise Control, R.S.A.G., Sickboy and Sweet Jane. The four acts which made it to the semi-finals recorded a track at Grouse Lodge. The top three from that vote progressed to the final at the Button Factory in Dublin.

The Berkeley Sessions

The Berkeley Sessions is a six-episode HD Canadian television music program produced by Original Spin Media and broadcast on Bravo!. The Berkeley Sessions was initially created with an eye and ear toward original music, featuring artists that create innovative new sounds in everything from alt-country and blues to jazz, pop, folk and rock n' roll. The series is taped in front of a live audience at The Berkeley Church in Toronto, Canada.

East Coast Sessions

East Coast Sessions is a Canadian English language television series. East Coast Sessions debuted on April 1, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. AST on the CBC affiliated Maritime stations. The series would later be broadcast nationally on the CBC-owned specialty channel, bold, beginning September 3, 2008. The series was produced by Geoff D'Eon. It was nominated for a 2008 Gemini Award in the category "Best Music or Variety Program or Series.

The MAX Sessions

The MAX Sessions is an Australian television program broadcast on MAX. It features intimate performances, by both Australian and over-seas artists, played mostly acoustically in a live set up, similar to MTV Unplugged.

SOLOS: The Jazz Sessions

SOLOS: the jazz sessions is 39 part television music profile/performance series produced in Canada by Original Spin Media. Each episode features complete musical pieces, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage with some of today's most notable jazz artists. Shot in HDTV with multiple moving cameras and a medley of elegant, cinematic lighting designs, SOLOS: the jazz sessions showcases an exciting and dynamic variety of jazz styles – from the blues and boogie-woogie to bebop and beyond. The series premiered on Bravo! in Canada in the summer of 2004 and has subsequently been broadcast on HDNet, CBC Bold, Rave HD, Sky Arts, VTR Chile, and Mezzo TV. The programs are filmed at Toronto's Berkeley Church performance and event venue.
