Key West 1993

Key West was a short-lived 1993 hour long comedy-drama television series set in Key West, Florida. Thirteen episodes aired on Fox between January and June 1993. It was created by David Beaird and Allan Marcil. The show was produced by Viacom Productions. The main character is Seamus O'Neill, played by Fisher Stevens, a factory worker from New Jersey who dreams of being a writer. When he wins the lottery, he uses his newfound wealth to move to Key West to pursue his writing career, Where his idol, Hemingway, had lived. Seamus finds the island inhabited by eccentrics. He takes a job as a reporter for The Meteor," a local newspaper. In addition to Stevens: Jennifer Tilly, Denise Crosby, and Brian Thompson led the large ensemble cast as the town's high-class prostitute, conservative mayor and eccentric sheriff, respectively.

Key Hunter

Key Hunter is a prime-time Japanese television detective series. It aired on Saturday nights in the 9:00–9:56 p.m. time slot on the Tokyo Broadcasting System network from April 6, 1968 to April 7, 1973. There were a total of 262 episodes, and it was one of the most popular action dramas in Japan at the time. The story involved "Key Hunter", a special clandestine unit of the International Police, which endeavored to solve various crimes. "Key Hunter" was a unique TV show, which started out as a grand scale spy thriller never before seen in Japan. The episodes were individually themed on global crimes and political strife. The initial hardboiled theme later evolved to include intellectual elements involving action, and occasionally with comical elements as well. Tetsuro Tamba starred in the 1967 film You Only Live Twice as Japanese Secret Service agent Tiger Tanaka, an ally of James Bond. This role greatly influenced his image in "Key Hunter".

Key to the Ages 1955

Key to the Ages was the name of an American television series that was broadcast on the now-defunct DuMont Television Network between February and May 1955. Hosted by Dr. Theodore Low, the program aired from February 27 to May 22, 1955. This literary series originated from WAAM-TV in Baltimore, and may have also aired on ABC stations. The series should not be confused with the similarly titled Key to the Missing, a documentary series which aired on DuMont from 1948-1949. Key to the Ages lasted only a few months on the air; just a little over one month after the program debuted, in April 1955, the DuMont Television Network began shutting down network operations. This made Key to the Ages one of the last DuMont Network programs. Key aired until May 22, 1955; DuMont itself ceased network operations in August 1956.

The Seventh Key is a British series of English lessons in 1969. It was recorded for English lessons in foreign countries like Norway and The Netherlands. The Seventh Key is a suspense story about an inheritance case. The story was written by the British linguist David Handforth. I was aired on Norwegian TV from 1969 to 1975. Starring: Diana Chappell, Cheryl Conte, Geoffrey Hinsliff, David Munro. Music by Kåre Furuholmen.

Key to the Missing

Key to the Missing was a TV series which aired on Fridays at 7pm EST on the DuMont Television Network from 4 July 1948 to 23 September 1949. Each 30-minute episode was hosted by Archdale Jones. The series interviewed people looking for long-lost friends and relatives. The series was typical of TV programming of the time, when the major TV networks were trying out various untested concepts and ideas. Although short-lived, the basic concept has been re-used many times since, usually by independent TV stations and small TV networks. Where Are They Now, the radio program on which the series was based claimed a 68 percent success rate.

Cage Without a Key

Cage Without a Key is a 1975 made-for-TV movie starring Susan Dey and Sam Bottoms, with Jonelle Allen and Lani O'Grady in supporting roles. The movie appeared on the NBC television network, later repeating on The CBS Late Movie. The film was released on VHS under the title Imprisioned Women. The movie was filmed at Las Palmas School for Girls in Commerce, California, now known as the Dorothy Kirby Center. This was a juvenile detention center, not an actual women's prison. Many of the extras were actual inmates.
