Six Days Seven Nights 1998

When Quinn, a grouchy pilot living the good life in the South Pacific, agrees to transfer a savvy fashion editor, Robin, to Tahiti, he ends up stranded on a deserted island with her after their plane crashes. Arabian Nights 2000

Arabian Nights is a two-part 2000 American/British miniseries, adapted by Peter Barnes from Sir Richard Francis Burton's translation of the medieval epic One Thousand and One Nights. Mili Avital and Dougray Scott star as Scheherazade and Shahryar respectively. Produced by Dyson Lovell and directed by Steve Barron, the serial was a made by Hallmark Entertainment and originally broadcast over two nights on 30 April and 1 May 2000 on BBC One in the United Kingdom and ABC in the United States. The series consists of five stories from One Thousand and One Nights, which are framed within a sixth, maintaining the traditional style of stories within stories that is synonymous with the Nights. The series cast includes Alan Bates, Rufus Sewell, Andy Serkis, James Frain, John Leguizamo, Jason Scott Lee, Vanessa-Mae, Alexei Sayle, Jim Carter, and James Callis.

Phoenix Nights 2001

Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights is a British sitcom about The Phoenix Club, a working men's club in the northern English town of Farnworth, Greater Manchester. The show was written by Neil Fitzmaurice, Peter Kay and Dave Spikey, produced by Goodnight Vienna Productions and Ovation Entertainments, and was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK. All the music was written by Toni Baker and Peter Kay. Additional material was provided by Paddy McGuinness. Two series have been produced, which were first transmitted in 2001 and 2002. The show is a spin-off from the spoof documentary series That Peter Kay Thing, and in turn gave rise to the spin-off Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere. It won the People's Choice Award at the British Comedy Awards 2002, and was nominated for several others. Kay is also its star, in multiple roles, and directed the second series. In September 2006, Kay revealed on BBC Radio 1 that a third series of Phoenix Nights has been written, but it is unknown when the series will be filmed. On 8 May 2007, another announcement by Kay was made promising another series will be made. However Dave Spikey, in interviews with The Sentinel and the Croydon Guardian in late-2009, claimed that neither he nor fellow co-writer Neil Fitzmaurice were aware of any plans to bring back the series.

It was aired every night at 8:00 p.m. Tehran time on Channel 3 in Iran. Repeats of the show were shown daily on IRIB 1 and IRIB 2 for those living out of the country. The show's last episode aired January 30, 2006. It was directed by Mehran Modiri.

Black Tie Nights 2004

Black Tie Nights was a softcore drama anthology series which aired on Cinemax in the United States from 2004 to 2005. This anthology show revolved around the adventures of Olivia Hartley and Cooper Snow who ran Black Tie dating service. They were assisted by their geeky sidekick, Ryan Lundy. Each week they would encounter new or returning customers and try to play matchmaker. The first season had two main subplots that continued in each episode. The first was the budding romance between Ryan and Cooper. The second was Olivia getting over the loss of her husband and dating again. In the second season, the show was retooled. The anthology series was renamed Hollywood Sexcapades and the characters of Olivia and Cooper were said to be out of the country opening a new branch. Candi Hicks, a recurring customer in the first season, became the new employee of Black Tie dating service. She and Ryan partnered to run the company, and the continuing subplot was the budding romance between these two characters. Each week they would continue to try to play matchmaker to that episode's guest stars.

1001 Nights features Shahrzad, a storyteller, in a Persian court with her sister Donyazad, King Shahryar, Prince Shahzaman and a playful monkey named Maymoon.

Spooky Nights

Spooky Nights is a comedy-horror show but as of October 1, 2011 it began showing horror shows instead of comedy-horror shows, created and developed by GMA Network. It premiered with its first episode on March 26 on GMA Network and April 2, 2011 on GMA Pinoy TV. On February 4, 2012, a Valentine series was made to replace the show for the month of February, which was Spooky Valentine, a sort-of sequel to the show with a similar theme, a romance-horror show now instead of comedy-horror. On March 10, 2012, Spooky Nights returned.

Tandoori Nights was a television sitcom broadcast on Channel 4 between 1985 and 1987. It consisted of two series of six episodes each. The series was directed by Jon Amiel and written by Farrukh Dhondy. It is the story of two rival restaurants in London, and starred Saeed Jaffery, Tariq Yunus, Rita Wolf and Zohra Sehgal. It was Channel 4's first Asian comedy series.
