Today is a daily American morning television show that airs on NBC. The program debuted on January 14, 1952. It was the first of its genre on American television and in the world, and is the fifth-longest running American television series. Originally a two-hour program on weekdays, it expanded to Sundays in 1987 and Saturdays in 1992. The weekday broadcast expanded to three hours in 2000, and to four hours in 2007. Today's dominance was virtually unchallenged by the other networks until the late 1980s, when it was overtaken by ABC's Good Morning America. The Day Today is a surreal British parody of television current affairs programmes, broadcast in 1994, and created by the comedians Armando Iannucci and Chris Morris. It is an adaptation of the radio programme On the Hour, which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 between 1991 and 1992. On the Hour was written by Morris, Iannucci, Steven Wells, Andrew Glover, Stewart Lee, Richard Herring, David Quantick, and the cast. For The Day Today, Peter Baynham joined the writing team, and Lee and Herring were replaced by Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews. The principal cast of On the Hour was retained for The Day Today. The Day Today is composed of six half-hour episodes and a selection of shorter, five-minute slots recorded as promotion trailers for the longer segments. The six half-hour episodes were originally broadcast from 19 January to 23 February 1994 on BBC2. The Day Today has won many awards, including Morris winning the 1994 British Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. All six episodes are available on BBC DVD, having previously been issued on VHS.

Aneez is extremely dedicated to studies and doesn't seems to realize their love for him.The father of Kanka and Title Jamil,the second brother and an architect by profession seems to be inclined to singing songs mainly of the ones composed by Hasan Raza.Jamil, who lost is wife 17 years ago,probably the time when Kanka was born,falls in love with an attractive, mature and intelligent woman Meera. Meera a spinster is taken to the house as a governess by Jamil. Jamil's elder brother Azgar, an eminent psychiatrist by profession seems to be always obsessed with his own imagination of incidents and personalities. The youngest brother remains insane and is usually quiet in the entire play. The story has traditional songs of Bangladesh like the "Jale Bhasa Padma aami".

Today's Special was a Canadian children's television show produced by Clive VanderBurgh at TVOntario from 1981 to 1987. It also ran on Nickelodeon and the Faith and Values Channel/Odyssey as well as many PBS stations throughout the United States. It was set in a department store, based on the flagship location of the now defunct Simpson's in Toronto. Many sequences for it were shot at the Queen Street West and Yonge Street store after hours.

Today Tonight was an Irish news and current affairs programme noted for its in-depth analysis, robust cross-examination of senior politicians and investigative reporting. The programme was brodacast on RTÉ One for the first time on Monday 6 October 1980. Brian Farrell, Barry Cowan and Olivia O'Leary were the three original presenters. They were subsequently joined by others such as Pat Cox, John Bowman and Pat Kenny. All of these presenters later went on to hold other positions in RTÉ Television. Today Tonight was broadcast from Monday to Thursday on RTÉ One after the main evening news and restored the station's reputation for current affairs broadcasting following the demise of 7 Days in 1976. The last edition of the programme was broadcast on 27 August 1992 and was replaced by Prime Time. It won a number of Jacob's Awards. An in-depth report into the 14 February 1981 Stardust fire broadcast by Today Tonight on 16 February 1981 led to a senior adviser of Taoiseach Charles Haughey accusing RTÉ of undermining the Stardust Tribunal.

This programme used to be available exclusively in Asia Pacific, South Asia and Middle East but as of a 1 February 2010 revamp is now aired worldwide. It used to be broadcast from the BBC's london studios but is now broadcast from the BBC's Singapore bureau which is in the CBD of Singapore. The main presenters are Rico Hizon and Sharanjit Leyl. The daily current affairs programme is aimed at viewers across Asia with in-depth reports from BBC correspondents and interviews with leading players. The programme is aired live twice and also repeated twice for a total of four airings each weekday.
