Many of the cast from The Legend of the Condor Heroes reprised their roles in this series, such as Lau Dan and Wayne Lai. In addition, Jason Pai reprised his breakthrough role as Kwok Ching, whom he previously portrayed in The Legend of the Condor Heroes and The Return of the Condor Heroes.

This miniseries follows the original Lonesome Dove miniseries, and both are based on the characters created by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Larry McMurtry's 1993 novel Streets of Laredo.
A Woman of Independent Means is an 1995 TV mini-series starring Sally Field. Sally Field also producer. Field was nominated for Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Awards. The series was also nominated in the category Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie, or a Special and won Emmy for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Costume Design for a Miniseries or a Special in 1995.
Breaking Point is a Canadian documentary film, released in 2005. Aired on CBC Television in English and on Télévision de Radio-Canada in French and released to mark the tenth anniversary of the 1995 Quebec sovereignty referendum, the film explored the dynamics of the referendum campaign through interviews with and news clips of several of the major players on both sides of the debate. The two-part film aired on SRC in September 2005, and on CBC in October. It has also been released on DVD.
